Regarding First Aid

First Aid, as is, results in a boring roll-off at the end of any combat or other damage causing event. No thought is given to it because there is absolutely no consequence in making the roll.

First Aid Kit – Optional Rule
A first aid kit contains a set number of bandages, antiseptic, etc., and is therefore good for a limited number of uses.

Attempting First Aid without a first aid kit is a difficult skill check.
- A failed First Aid without a first aid kit increases the original damage amount by 1. (For example, the 3-point wound becomes a 4-point wound, and an additional point is deducted from the characters current HP).

Attempting First Aid with a first aid kit is a normal skill check.
- Each successful use of First Aid subtracts 1 Use from the first aid kit.
- Each unsuccessful use of First Aid subtracts 2 Uses from the first aid kit. If only 1 Use remains in the kit, the original damage amount is increased by 1.

A critical success for First Aid heals 1 additional point.
A fumble for First Aid with a first aid kit increases the original damage amount by 1
A fumble for First Aid without a first aid kit increases the original damage amount by 2
